One of the most underappreciated and overlooked beauties of Mexico is the numerous amount of pueblos that scatter the landscape of interior Mexico far away from typical tourist hot spots (eg Cancún). I have traveled to Mexico numerous times and staying in Michoacán during Semana Santa was one of the most rewarding and beautiful experiences I have ever had. The people, food, and culture are truly one of a kind.
